Day 1 |
Start this tour by seeking out the well–preserved remains of Grosmont Castle. Later in the day join its two cousins of nearby Skenfrith and White Castles. |
| Day 2 | Visit Caldicot Castle and wind up the day further west at Coity Castle. |
| Day 3 | Ogmore Castle is located in a beautiful, rural spot close to the South Wales Coast. Head towards the wonderful beach–lined Gower Peninsula for another castle at Oxwich. End the day viewing Carreg Cennen at sunset. |
| Day 4 | After a visit to the awesome site of Dinefwr Castle discover the extraordinary history of Llawhaden. Then, further west, on a striking lone rock face, Cilgerran Castle awaits! |

Day 1 |
Visit 13th Century Dolbadarn Castle – one of the finest native Welsh castles. Later you could seek out the hidden treasures of Dolwyddelan Castle, and the wonderful castle at Rhuddlan. |
| Day 2 | Ewloe Castle is a substantial masonry castle possibly constructed around 1257. In the same day you could also visit Dinas Bran and to the North West, Castell Y Bere. |
| Day 3 | Seek out the slight remains of Dolforwyn Castle sitting on a ridge, overlooking the Severn Valley. Later in the day take in Montgomery and further to the South – Bronllys Castle. |
