St Paul's Cathedral, Regents Park and London Zoo
St Paul's Cathedral
Discover St Paul - see it in style with AIR SEA TRANSFERS - chauffeurs for London.
Since 604AD there has been a Cathedral dedicated to St Paul overlooking the City of London. The Cathedral was destroyed in the Great Fire of London. Sir Christopher Wren designed the replacement which was built between 1675 and 1710. It's architectural and artistic importance reflect the determination of the five monarchs who oversaw its building that London's leading church should be as beautiful and imposing as their private palaces.
Regent's Park and London Zoo
The Regent's Park was designed in 1811 by John Nash and includes stunning rose gardens with more that 30,000 roses of 400 varieties.
London Zoo
The London Zoo is open every day of the year, except Christmas Day and offers a fabulous collection of animals in the surreal setting of London's Regent Park.
Open Air Theatre
You need not travel to Stratford Upon Avon or even to the Globe to watch Shakespeare play. Since 1932, the Open Air Theatre in Regent's Park has been hosting some magical performances of Shakespeare's greatest productions. A Midsummer Night's Dream is the signature piece of the open air theatre and as the light falls, the faery magic really comes alive under the stars.
